Happy 3rd Anniversary, Mitch and Lynn Bassett!
Cassie, Michael, and May have been involved in celebrating his cousins’ special day, and will be attending a family-and-friends dinner at the Inn, but we’ll be on a dinner date with Naomi and Aiden instead of having them drag us along to that party. Yes, we’ll be at the Inn too, but that’s because we’ve had another rainy day; the co-ed ball practices have already been cancelled; and Mom is staying in the city for a bonus sleepover with Dad. Naomi and Aiden will be staying with us for the night too; and that’s part of the reason for why we’re doing this update early – while also getting ready for our dates and getting the lounge set up for our evening movies-and-cuddle-time plans.
We can write about that news with our next report, but we also don’t really have much news from our day-so-far. Tai Chi was indoors due to the wet weather; we went with a standard school day breakfast with bonus video chat with Mom and Dad; and then our school day was mostly-indoors and not newsworthy. We found out about Mom’s extra day in the city after getting home from school; set up the dinner date at the Inn plan with Cassie, Michael, and the parents – along with the sleepovers; and that brings us up to now. Naomi and Aiden are at their own homes getting ready for our date and packing overnight bags, and we definitely want to be ready to play by the time they get back; so, until next time...
