Ehlana and Ethan:
We don’t have much news for today – so far. Mom had us do chores all morning – again to
get ahead of the weekend chores and get most of them done; and then we’ve had a
play afternoon since then and mostly stayed out of her way. While we had a picnic by the falls, biked the
trails, and went for a couple of swims; Mom was one of the Moms and
grandmothers in our family doing holiday weekend pre-cooking and baking. That work is still going on; and will
continue as we get together for a family and friends dinner and play
night. The cooking and baking is going
to continue too; so we expect to be on kid-control with our younger cousins –
an assignment that is beginning soon; so we need to wrap this up and get ready
for that.
We aren’t having a camping night and have
packed up our tent because there’s a risk of thunderstorms tonight, but we’re
not doing a sleepover either; since we need to get some extra rest tonight –
and the Seagers and Drapers want their kids back for at least one night! ;^)
The rest of the news for today can wait for
the next update; so we’ll move on now; and get back to living that news so we’ll
have something to actually write about for that next report.
